From Malcolm Dawson (Sunderland fan)
Hi there. Sunderland fan here! some of your info is out of date.

The Fan Zone no longer operates at the SE corner of the ground but is now inside the Foundation of Light building which is around 100 yards from the North End of the ground. (Not the first building which is the Aquatics Centre). It is by the bus stops where the Park and Ride (free) buses stop.

Following problems from visiting supporters throwing things from the Upper Tier stewards are supposed to confiscate all coins and vapes from away fans so make sure your supporters have spent all their loose change. Any that is confiscated is donated to a charity nominated by the visiting club. I'm not sure if supporters can reclaim their vapes after the match. It may be worth finding out.

Enjoy your day at a club in turmoil. Sound familiar?

Malcolm Dawson

Got a good feeling about this, cut the schoolboy errors out at the back and it should be relatively straight forward 😆

Hopefully Sunderland do a Hull and decide against using the press against us (or just do it very badly). If we have time on the ball to get Ronald and Polish dude running at them with Tymon overlapping, we'll have a good go at it I feel. Pato is due a good game as well.

ah, sh*t, I'm talking myself into optimism now, that rarely ends well😅

.
Apparently the fact doing the rounds (on the transistor radio, so tbc) is that only on 10 occasions have teams been on 67+ points at this point (so early) in the Championship season - and 4 of the 10 are this year.
If that is the case, it only serves to show that the courageous way in which Luke and his senior team (with no pre-season blah blah) chose to implement and challenge his A-Game against the very very best, got smashed but bounced back against each of those teams (Leeds excepted), augurs tremendously well. And that our stellar performances against the average Champ teams have been just that, properly stellar exciting stuff.

More of our A-Game tmw, Lukey, fair play.

edit : 2-1 to the mighty Swans.

Quite a few sunderland players missing tomorrow, so great opportunity for the boys to get something from the game, with the toughest fixtures done this could be the start of a good run

Leeds (the only team we struggled to get back at in the 2nd half) smash runaway league leaders Leicester.

Doom-mongers: wake up and smell the sweet scent of optimism...... based on deep undertones of structure, conviction, realism and fact.

3/1 and I do fancy us to get something.
Kiss of death accumulator on.

No excuses today..playing a mid table side, manager change, they have key players out, no midweek game and plenty of training time to be brave. If we are beaten by a better side fair enough, if we gift them the game with basic errors then learning is not in our make up. COYS

If we don't get something from this with their suspensions and injuries then we are in huge trouble.

Roberts and Clarke out.
Main left back injured and centre half suspended.

Cullen and Placheta back in today for more conventional 4-5-1

What is the better hybrid name? Woobango or Cabood? Either way this is our number 1 issue.
