Allen out again, safe to say with just over 4 weeks to the World Cup, he isn’t playing again before then is he?

We need to dust ourselves down and pick ourselves up and put Saturday out of our minds. The games come thick and fast now and we are most definitely not out of the running just yet.

Having watched back the highlights the first thing that RM needs to do is deal with the wingback situation. If Manning isn't fit for Tuesday then he either needs to bring in Ogbeta and put Sorinola back on the right or bring in Fin Stevens who is actually a wingback and not a centre half like Lati.

I have been thinking for the past week or so that maybe Piroe needed some time out of the firing line with his below par performances the last few weeks and that has now been pretty much enforced upon us not giving RM a choice in the matter.

This will almost certainly mean Obafemi to lead the line with the two spots behind him up for grabs after Ntcham was pretty damned quiet against Burnley. Oko-Flex hasn't really had a proper opportunity yet and surely has to be in for a shout along with Cundle and Cooper.

After the horror show at Turf Moor, I’m optimistic that we can get 2 wins on the trot and go top 3 by 1400 on Sunday!

tRussonomics has been binned for the idealistic, unworkable claptrap that it was.

Russonomics has been binned for the idealistic, unworkable claptrap that it was.

The U-turn driven by the senior players has delivered sensible, pragmatic Winning football, based on winning ways inculcated by previous leaders.

Let's hope Russ doesn't do his own U-turn again after the hammering by Burnley and revert to his idealistic fannying around the back Losing football - just to look good on his CV.

We are in the best run of form in this league, Reading have been poor.

3-1 if we stick and not U-turn twist again

So which Swansea will we see tonight then

Hopefully players desperate to play on Sunday...therefore am expecting nothing less than ' a performance '.
What the result will be ? Given up on that score.

Hopefully.... But it's the hope that kills ya.

We've definitely got a problem at wingback with Manning out, he's the only one of them that's consistently good enough to play there. Sorinola is okay as a backup, Lati just doesn't have the attacking skills needed although he did okay as one of the outside centre halves when called upon last season. Guess we might see Darling again, with Ntcham and Cooper playing behind Obafemi.

Russ up for this. Players arrived at stadium far earlier than usual.

Ogbeta excluded, it seems. So hopefully our left side isn't as weakened as feared.
(Ogbeta been showing his versatility across LCB, LWB, LM recently and is more than ready to step up to cover gaps along our left flank, by all accounts).

As tempting as it may be can we just resist the temptation of bating Carroll again as we inevitably end up on the wrong side-on the last occasion he bizarrely won a long footrace to score. Save it for the end when we've won

I would have fancied us to win this even if we'd lost a close game on Saturday. Now all bets are off as that simply had to dent confidence. First goal very important tonight. We can't afford to defend like a bunch of under 11s again.

Back five again with two substandard wing backs. Can't see this ending well, but at least he's brought Darling, Cooper and Cundle back in.
