Wales v Poland

Agreed. Means nothing really.
No comments about his good work etc
Worst thing about all this is that it just plays into Page's hands when he eventually gets sacked.

He'll say he never had the support, they had it in for him for day one, he'll probably even say that it destabilised the team and cost us qualification (which would be absolute bullshit).

The FAW's handling of him over the last 18 months has been a joke, from awarding him a 4-yr deal before Qatar to publicly doing the hokey cokey on him since last autumn. Absolute shambles.

We were screwed by Page with his stupid selection and formation against Armenia at home. Sent a message that we only needed to turn up to win. One point over the two games against Armenia cost us qualification and we didn’t need playoffs if we had a manager worth his salt.
He should have been sacked for incompetence after the Armenia game.

It says enough that he was cocky enough to say about his ups and downs with Mooney but the relationship is now good.

He is a disaster. Sacked by Port Vale, in charge of our country's chances of qualification for major tournaments. PE teacher with too much to say and not enough to back it up

Don't insult PE teachers mate 😉

It's also not as young as is perceived either

Moore is 31 or older and certainly seems about 40. Harry Wilson 28? Brooks 27?

There are no jewels coming through either. We have a Championship side's third choice goalkeeper as number one and our best defender is 31 in a month or two...
Not sure things are quite that bleak. Neco 22, Johnson 22, Ampadu 23, J James, 19, Colwill 21 then there's Rodon, Brooks, D James & Wilson who are all 26 or 27 so should still have 3-5 years left at this level. That's 9 players 27 or under who could still be playing together during the WC qualifies and the next Euro qualifiers and Connor Roberts & Ben Davies won't be past it then either. I reckon Cooper could get a better tune out of that group than Page ever will and that could make enough of a difference. Agree we could definitely do with a few younger goalkeepers coming through though.

Big things expected of Charlie Savage and Liverpool's Lewis Koumas coming through too, definitely reason's to be positive.
Just have to get the right coach in now...

If Charlie wasn't a Savage he wouldn't be rated half as highly. As Page has mentioned before, his dad's always on the phone pushing. Dylan Levitt was far more highly regarded at Man Utd but he's now found his level in Scotland.

Koumas and Charlie Crew are probably the best prospects we have for the medium-term. Both pursued by England but seem to be relatively committed to us. Luke Harris has started getting senior games in L1, sensational at u21s since he was 16 but a big step for him physically (bit like Harry Wilson found). Chris Popov been hampered by injuries. Owen Beck a left-footed Neco Williams. There are players to come through to replace those who start to decline. Our youth sides are as strong and competitive as they've probably ever been. Just need a few in the right positions to come through swiftly.
