Of course I don't wish the occupants any harm and hope they come out of it unscathed, but I couldn't help comparing and contrasting the massive effort and resources going into their rescue with those which went into assisting those poor buggers on that Libyan refugee ship the other day.
But of course those feckers didn't have two ha'pennies to rub together.

It’s going through me reading it. Apparently they’ll be told to sleep to save oxygen.

It’s literally my worse nightmare

This.

I am reasonable certain that given the size of the vessal, how deep itroughly was when it lost contact and the fact that there is no "rescue vessel" capable of working at those depths... then all the effort is to recover the bodies. :( :( :(

Just found this.

Some may be interested/horrified.

Apparently there are 7 safety measures, including sand bags and metal poles, which can be jettisoned if required, not exactly high tech is it. It could be at the surface, but they are bolted in, so it doesn't look good.🤔

Sounds to me like the sub has got snagged on something, it was designed to float back up to the surface apparently.

Hope springs eternal 🙏

Just find it, then this...
