Oh they are definitely out there, we used to find them once upon a time, but generally our player acquisition has been woeful. Also the loan players are supposed to enhance your squad, can think of only Rushworth has had that effect this season .
Big club my arse, when did they last win the league or even a trophy for that matter. Yet if there was breakaway super league tomorrow they would expect to be part of it. Serial underachievers.
We ended on a high last season, it had no bearing whatsoever on what was going to happen this season . Lost piroe and ntcham and also ended up having a manager completely unsuited to our style of play. Ended up having a disastrous start to the season, and generally a unexciting and dreadful...
Don't like or dislike Forest but can't help thinking if those penalty appeals had been for Liverpool or Man Utd at Anfield or Old Trafford then i think at least 2 would have been given.
Well if they are looking to see if Liam Walsh can string a few decent performances together before they think about a new contract they are certainly not going the right way about it. Personally i wouldn't give it a second thought. He simply cannot stay fit long enough to warrant us giving him...
How come players from the 1970s , who used to play 55- 60 games a season were not having anywhere near the incidents that are happening in modern day football. ? Just asking a serious question. Todays players we are told, are eating healthier, playing less than players 40 years ago , and have...
We really do need to get rid of players like Paterson, 4 or 5 good games a season is simply not good enough. We now have a chance to let him go , let's not screw it up like we did with that carthorse Fulton.
So are Plymouth are much much better side than us then? Or did they just decide to have a go and not think they were beaten before stepping out on the pitch.
A lot of posters on here were as bad as the mentality of the players. Oh it's a free hit, Leicester are unbeatable and apparently were heading for a record points tally. Before todays games Leicester had lost the same amount of games (10) as West Bromwich Albion in 5th. We showed far too much...
So, according to some of our so called experts on here, they were in a league of their own and going to achieve a record points total for the league. It was a free hit game for us , because apparently they were unbeatable. They have now lost the same amount of games (10) as 5th placed West...
There is a senior league referee sitting behind me in the East stand that is generally quick to let everyone know his verdict on most refereeing decisions. He said that the referee got the disallowed goal spot on , and the decision was the correct one.
Going to be a very difficult game. They have had a couple of decent results on the road, and will be upbeat after pulling back a 2 goal deficit on Saturday to earn a point against West Bromwich.
That really is no laughing matter. It's not the amount of money you spend, it's who you spend it on that counts. You only have to look at our pre season purchases to realise that. For years we had the ideal formula but somehow veered away from it , and as they say, the rest is history.
For who? We have seen in certain games that with the right players alongside him he can be a decent championship player. Putting that carthorse Fulton alongside him, or anyone else for that matter, is seriously going to hamper our midfield.
