The loan players and social media

That's a somewhat jaundiced view of these young men who are all trying to make their way in the game, and who all did their best for us, whether they were ultimately effective or not. For what it's worth, Humphries and to a lesser extent Patino, both showed they have something about them and...

    24/25 Away Days

I'll be looking out for cheap flights to the UK to go and see a few more away matches next season. Fancy flying to Exeter for a trip to Plymouth, a ground I've never visited. Bristol City is a given, of course, a quick in and out from Alicante. It will be tempting fate to go to Hull again, but...

    The tories

It was unadulterated joy for me, watching the utter demolition of the Tory scum across the country, but the biggest joy of all was watching Street lose the West Midlands mayoralty despite doing his best in his campaign to hide the fact he was a Tory. Insulting people's intelligence, or what...

    Season rating

It's been a drab season and no mistake. I've only seen three games live, but have watched the majority on tinternet in my home office in Adsubia, Pego. That has been hard work much of the time, and it's a surreal experience, because I'm watching a stream on the desktop which is two minutes...

    Gavin & Stacey

If that's true, it must have stuck in his craw to big Cardiff up in the script. Buying a scummer shirt for the baby Neil and everything....

Season 23/24 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City v Millwall FC | The EFL Championship

Had a good day in hospitality honouring my mate Brian. Shame about the match! In fairness, we played well until the penalty, but that was an awful spotkick from Grimesy. To make matters worse, I chose minute 65 in the first goal competition to win a signed shirt. Grimesy steps up in the 65th...

Absolutely disgraceful, I hope the arseh*le feels the full weight of the law.

Season 23/24 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City v Millwall FC | The EFL Championship

You may recall me posting a couple of weeks ago about the passing of my good friend and lifelong Swans supporter Brian Nugent at the age of 85 in Hereford. His son is hosting a group of his closest Jack mates for a hospitality package at the match on Saturday in memory of Brian, and I'm proud to...

    Mammoth with Mike Bubbins

Yes, first episode was hilarious, other two not so much, but overall a good effort. I'm not sure it could last a series, the joke would wear thin.

A reflection on the season-Duff and Williams.

Langstaff is already being talked up in the media as a potential target for several championship clibs with more resources than us. I think we'll be priced out of that one. Let's hope our recruiting team can dig up another gem like Ronald.

Well done Mutey, still play this to death in my car too. Time Was and Blowin' Free, classic rock tracks.

    Work in the summer

For me, the three essentials are a new keeper, a hardworking, attack minded central midfielder and a 20 goals a season striker. If we can bring those onboard, I feel we would have enough in the current squad and youngsters to achieve a top half finish, or even be near the play offs.
