Re: Morris deal agreed
I’ll try not to give away my American accent here. He’s not a #10. While I believe he can work well with Ayew and Lowe, he’s not a distributor nor does he have exceptional foot skills. He will run for 90 mins though

Re: Morris deal agreed
I think that is fair. He could play a variety of roles in the front four though would not be a Dhanda type who is deft and articulate. Hopefully he will fit in with Lowe and Ayew who need to take a breather now and again. It was Steve Cooper who said he relied too much on Ayew to steal a game. Much as we did with Siggy begore the 50M move. With the loss of a few front runnners we need to spread the load and if this guy can stop and think as well as he can run, he will do well. IDK how the leagues compare but I imagine he is going to take some time off Lowe as a starter.

When you look at this video
He's like a modern day Trunds with a bit more pace. Similar style, runs the same, low centre of gravity. Weird to watch.. and exciting!

Have a feeling this could be one of those signings that works perfectly for us
Been running this place since 2001, still gives me a headache now!

Just a loan or with a view to a perm?
Have seen both mooted.

Re: Morris deal agreed
Hopefully he settles in quick and doesn't become homesick because he looks a brilliant player.
Re: Morris deal agreed
I've read a few comments from US wandering why he's only going to a Championship club!
Like we wouldn't walk the MLS.
Will he be played as a left wing?

Re: Morris deal agreed
His movement and running style are so reminiscent of Trunds, it's uncanny. If he's even half as successful he'll definitely be very useful.skettyjack wrote: ↑18 Jan 2021 13:08

Anyone know when he last played and if he's likely to hit the ground running?
Re: Morris deal agreed
That would surely depend on which division we're in next season.

They keep harping on about Rotherham and Wycombe ..what about the other 22 bigger teams in the league and the fact we can offer Morris a prem move directly or indirectly and will help us second half of this season. They maybe bitter that they lose out mainly all round .Swanjaxs wrote: ↑17 Jan 2021 22:02I dare you not to read this in your head without an American accent![]()

His last game was December 12 when Seattle was snuffed by the mighty Columbus Crew 3-0 in the MLS Championship game.
