The latter if you click the link in that article to the Sun one they have changed Swansea to Cardiff to make it look as if it said that all the timeBadlands wrote: ↑16 Jan 2021 10:02Having a medical with us today!

Been running this place since 2001, still gives me a headache now!
Re: Max Watters
He might be the next Jamie Vardy or the next Pawel Abbott. Is it worth the gamble for a player who has previously struggled at League One level and has 6 months left on his contract.
Re: Max Watters
1M for a player released by Doncaster and had trials for non league before joining Crawley in October, I'm glad we didn't part with that as we can't afford to pay that sum on someone who's had 3 months of League 2 football.
Fair play if he's a success good luck to the lad.

Re: Max Watters
at least they save money with not having a scouting department, they just look at our links
Re: Max Watters
They just had a clip of him being interviewed at half time. They made him do that stupid thing they do with their heads. Daft whangs.

Re: Max Watters
It’s funny how you can take an instant dislike for someone.
I’m going to give Cooper a pass on this one and hope that it was his decision rather than a lack of funding as the reason we didn’t go in for him.
Hope he turns out to be s**t.

He can see they've turned Harry Wilson into a worldy, the thick cvnt deserves the struggles that awaits him.Itchysphincter wrote: ↑16 Jan 2021 16:09It’s funny how you can take an instant dislike for someone.

Re: Max Watters
They have form for this. They bought Glatzel for an inflated fee because he happened to score against Bayern Munich in the cup. Paid € 6m for him. Heidenheim couldn’t believe their luck !
Re: Max Watters
Wales Online Headline
Max Watters explains why he chose Cardiff City over Swansea City, his Leeds United pride and what he'll bring to Bluebirds
So you read the article and of course it doesn't say anything of the sort - the closest being
"When I first found out about Cardiff I was immediately attracted to it, with the manager and size of the club. Wales is a lovely place to live, so it came down to that, really"
So outside of someone telling him Swansea is no longer in Wales it came down to what we know - they were prepared to match Crawley's valuation and we weren't. Each and every person reading knows that it was not a football decision.

Re: Max Watters
It's exactly the same as Wilson. Cardiff were prepared to pay, we weren't. I don't know about this guy, but surely there's no chance Wilson would have chosen to go to Cardiff over us if he has half a brain. It's gone for Wilson exactly how anyone could have foreseen, very badly. At under 6 foot I think it's fair to assume Wetters is unlikely to set the world alight at Cardiff with their tactics.
