OK, I'll bite.

They are without a doubt terrible this season. But how on earth is finishing 9th in the PL with 54 points as a promoted team 'flattering to deceive'? The mass media (arf) didn't have anything to do with them beating Spurs, Chelsea, Everton, Wolves and Arsenal. If you want to say that they are one-trick ponies and have been found out now, then fair enough. But they were superb last season.

We topped 54 points only once in our time in the PL, with 56 points when we finished 8th under Monk. We didn't get more than 47 points in any other season, even under Rodgers and Laudrup. Does that mean we were s**t too?

No idea what you're going on about with the rest of it. From memory, most wished McBurnie well when he left.
