Rodon to Spurs
Re: Rodon to Spurs
Tottenham Hotspur could now include defender Cameron Carter-Vickers as part of the bid to sign Swansea City star Joe Rodon, according to reports.
Spurs have been linked with a move for Wales international Rodon, who the Swans value somewhere north of £18m.
It has been suggested, though, that Tottenham are way off in their valuation of the player, meaning negotiations still have some way to go if a deal is to be struck.
But, according to The Sun, Spurs are now willing to offer Carter-Vickers as a makeweight to bring the 22-year-old centre back to north London.

Spurs playing a blinder here.. Unsettled our player with a creative low bid to pull our valuation down. They now full well in this Covid era they have the upper hand with this transfer as we will surely buckle at some point. They are clearly looking for a £12M deal which i think they will get possibly with CCV or Foyth thrown in.

Juan Foyth went on loan to Villarreal this week, and Spurs value him at approx £15M.

So loaning out a £15M CB then pursue a £7M replacement. They clearly don't rate Foyth at all then !?TheLoneRanger wrote: ↑08 Oct 2020 12:04Ringwood Jack wrote: ↑08 Oct 2020 11:34Spurs playing a blinder here.. Think this is about right from a Spurs view -
it’s the perfect time to hoover up a bit of lower league talent on the cheap.
Identify those clubs properly struggling financially and nip in and nick their best young players. Not as cuntish as it sounds, if we manage to get a few good youngsters on the cheap but give clubs enough cash to stay afloat. If you think of it in a certain way, we are actually doing them a favour!

they picked up that kid from Wigan already for peanuts, so your theory seems to be accurateRingwood Jack wrote: ↑08 Oct 2020 13:07Think this is about right from a Spurs view -

And if that be the case, we must do it further down the line when it comes to strengthening with the money we receive.
I do question whether we are that desperate to sell a player for more than half he is worth... Arguably nearly 1/3 in fact.
