Good to see Sam Clucas today

You really need to stop biting and bitching when you lose an argument 😛

Good to see Sam Clucas today

The only snowflake I can relate to is the cold stuff dropping from the sky in winter. Give him whatever stick you want, but if you think it's fine to also dish out vile abuse to his mother, then quite clearly it's you who needs to grow up 😅

Good to see Sam Clucas today

Why do you doubt that. Do you know her. Stupid comment.

Good to see Sam Clucas today

Nope, not a newbie, been following the Swans for 50+ years. I know why he's getting jeers, no problem with that..the fans give it to him, he gives it back ..and so on. Where I draw the line is the vile abuse of his mother, totally unnecessary. End of.

Good to see Sam Clucas today

As far as I can recall, this all started when he was previously regaled with "what a waste of money" by the East Stand. But as has been pointed out, it was the Club who paid over the odds. Not his bloody fault. Now...as a former player hearing that, why not give it some when scoring...

Good to see Sam Clucas today

Can anyone explain what he has done so wrong as to justify the extent of the abuse today, especially the vile references to his mother. Totally unnecessary imho

    Attendances

Yes, you're right, those were great karma moments. Long passed though, now we're getting embarrassed on and off the pitch by opposition teams and their fans. It's bad enough on the pitch, let's not compound it by those stupid attendance announcements over the tannoy. Just put it silently on...

    Attendances

Actually, back in the Prem they did stop it for a while, just flashed up the number on the big screens. I amongst others had complained about the constant jeering from away fans when the tannoy announcement was made. Of course most Clubs then had way more home support than us. But now our...

    Last night's Leeds match

Two things I'll always remember. How completely outclassed we were. The minutes applause for Chris Brown. Game stopped, all players and match officials applauding as well. Plus Leeds fans, fair play to them. Wonderful tribute, never seen the like before. As for the match...I left half time...

    Season ticket renewal

I've just renewed my season ticket - but really more out of habit/duty Plus I like my seat and don't want to lose it. Terrible reasons when I think about it. Used to be I looked forward to games and what a new season might bring. The joy has been sucked out of us since the Yanks took over...

    The cupboard is bare then?...

So in the Winter window these are coming in...I wonder what categories they'll fall into by the end of the season, compared to those in the Summer Window .. Ronald Sagoe Placheta These were our Summer transfers in. My suggested categories. CATEGORY A VERY GOOD : Rushworth (L) CATEGORY B GOOD...

    Russell Martin and his/our squad

    Good summary !

    Russell Martin and his/our squad

Tbh, I don't think that. We are where we are because our squad overall is mediocre. Especially lacking pace and midfield creativity.

    Russell Martin and his/our squad

You can't tell me that this Southampton side is down to Russell Martin's management. He just has inherited a quality squad and with pace in abundance. There's little tippy tappy sideways and backwards which used to bore me rigid when he was here. No need when he's now got a different...

    Our Owners

I'm presuming their number one priority is decent financial profit for them and their client investors. Number two priority is success on the field for their reputation and for the fans/club. And better success means better returns. However, year on year, the on field "success" is diminishing...

    Carl Rushworth....

...best since Fabianski. Fact. Brilliant performance today. He needs a song, c'mon guys :D

The Football Team and this Football Board...

I confess to reading more on this Board rather than posting.....but is it me or is the interest in the Team on here just, well ...indifferent or uninterested. I know we won yesterday, but after the Watford game, and the last few years, it feels we've had the joy sucked out of us...

    Rushworth, best since...

...Fabianski I reckon. Solid competent goalkeeper, someone the defence can have confidence in. Decent on crosses, good shot stopper ( often catching rather than palming away) and can be alive to a row Z clearance if needed. And that super long throw to Yates yesterday, well into their half...

Trying to be a bit positive...

Looking at new players already playing ...and those due to play. Ginnelly was good today I thought on the left. I like him. Let's add Tymon on the left and potential for a good pairing. Move Key over to right, I like him as well. Def in place of Ashby ( jury out). Keep Patino in midfield...
