How can you give the captaincy to some one who has only been with us 2 minutes?

MGW badly missed last night. We have missed a trick in the midfield recruitment. We have no real quality in there and when we need to chuck Fulton in there we are really are lowering the bar. Maybe we need to take the captaincy off Grimes and free him up !?
