Re: Season 20/21: The Official Derby County v Swansea City Match Thread
You could tell within the first few minutes we were not at the races. We were so bad that I think Cooper needed changes when we were one nil down and not wait until half time. When we concede first goal the team reminds of Monk's reign where you know we are are going to struggle to score after conce...

Re: Season 20/21: The Official Derby County v Swansea City Match Thread
Fair play to Rooney, they have sussed out our system. They have three high attackers for counter and pack the middle and starving us of space middle in the park. This system also fails when we lose first goal, we have to many defensive minded players. We need to 2 or 3 players changed at half time w...

Re: Taking the knee booed at Millwall
Taking the knee to me is a sign of weakness, bowing to a higher power/master. It just symbolises slavery like wearing a mask with covid.

Re: Taking the knee booed at Millwall
Perhaps they were not booing anti-racism. Perhaps they were booing the BLM movement, and if they were they are well justified. It is a neo-Marxist, anti-capitalist organisation that believes in defunding the police. More than that it is also overtly racist -it believes that all white people are gui...

Re: Taking the knee booed at Millwall
So why don't we have a touch your nose for starving African children, a star jump for the homeless, etc. Most football fans can accept the kneel jesture for a couple of weeks, but when is it going to end, half way into the season I think we get the message.

Re: Taking the knee booed at Millwall
Glad to see the booing, keep politics out of football. Watching the West Ham/Utd game and now we have rainbow laces for two weeks for the LGBT community. They might as well throw in the extinction rebellion with it, i am fed up of this wokey left propaganda and will be cancelling my Sky subscription ...

Re: SWANS TRUST NEWS: Season Tickets
It's good reward for people who kept money in the club, I am one that has left my refunds build up into my account but don't deserve the offer. I am quite happy getting full refund and assessing the situation just before the start of next season.

Re: Season 20/21: The Official Middlesbrough vs Swansea City Match Thread
Frustrating boring watch tonight, too many players had off games. No tempo and pace, boring sideways passing apart from Dhanda. Not enough goals in this team, we will fizzle outside of play offs.

Re: Gyokeres
He needs a run of games to get better assessment. In general I feel whoever is the striker is in for tough time because we create little in front of goal. Despite Cooper doing a reasonable job with current league postion, I would rather take a step backwards in trying to create a style like Leeds be...

Re: Season 20/21: The Official Swansea City vs Sheffield Wednesday Match Thread
We will struggle to score tonight, Sheff Weds look will drilled and we seem to be way of the pace and constantly giving possession away in final third. Cullen and Dhanda off at half time.

Re: The official Covid vaccine thread
I am going to sit this one out, I would rather take a chance with covid than a rushed vaccine. I just want people's choice to be respected, none of this scaremongering from the media.

Re: The Biden v Trump Thread
This reminds me of second Brexit vote, I think the silent majority will come out in force to vote Trump. As a neutral, I find the odds on Trump winning at 2/1 to be super value. Trump's rallies look impressive compared to Biden's. He has 80 million plus twitter followers compared to Biden's 11 milli...

Re: Gareth Bale
Biggest asset to his game was pace and he looks like he has lost not only one yard, but two yards of pace. He reminds me of a similar decline to Fernando Torres when he lost that yard of pace the goals dried up. He is my prediction for flop of the season, i think he's regressed that badly.

Re: Season 20/21: The Official Swansea City vs Stoke City Match Thread
Credit to the team last night, we actually looked half decent. Still would like us to be more adventurous to kill games off when leading by single goal. I thought Stoke would be a stronger threat, but they looked like a Subbuteo team without puppet to push the pieces.
