Re: Fabio Borini

Wouldn’t Borini be here by now if he was coming?
If rumours of his wages are correct he won’t be finding employment with us or any club at this level.

Re: Gyokeres

Similar to Peterson and Cooper had no idea what to do with him either.

Re: Red Button Match: The Official Coventry City vs Swansea City Match Thread

No point having creative players with Cooper in charge. All function and no flak. And last night play by numbers gave way to hoofball.

Re: The Official Swansea City vs Huddersfield Town Match Thread

We did suffer today from losing Joe in my opinion, central defence today looked hesitant at times but we had to take the money i guess with his injury record. I agree - Naughton is not a central defender which doesn't help Should have reverted to 4- 4- 2 for this game. That said, we fell into the h...

Re: Swansea 1Huddersfield 2 – Player Ratings

Given the changes to the back 3 Cabango was outstanding.
Did Grimes and Smith go on in the second half?

Kin ell. How has it taken so long to tell the punters?
Keeping it quiet to make sure we didn't get fleeced on Latibeaudiere and Manning?

Re: The Official Swansea City vs Huddersfield Town Match Thread

It will be interesting to see if Cooper retains the formation and starting line up from Millwall with Naughton filling in at CB Woodman back in goal.
Or if he throws the new signings on from the start.
Going to 4 - 4 - 2 would be my choice but I think he'll try to keep the 3 - 5 - 2 approach.

Re: Rodon

We've bent over and begged spurs for a shafting, if spurs would of offered 5 Mill we would of accepted it, sends out a great message for future sales. We've been had. Winter earning his coin already. They offered £7 million and we didn't take it. Just accept the stratospheric figures mentioned by s...

Re: Fabio Borini

I liked that he shot at every opportunity But he has failed since he left so it’s hit or miss. Leon vs Bony. Curt vs Ayew (Ayew is absolutely not a success for his money.) A team with Ayew and Borini could be very aggressive if you could find room for both. Liam Cullen good develop very well playin...

Until Winer arrived Cooper had exactly wha he wanted but things have turned a little chilly.

£11 rising to £15 million ... about right.
TBH would have preferred £12 up front.
