Don't forget "people's Sunday" at Wimbledon!
That's when the peasants get to queue up for 15 hours for a chance of a ticket on court 16 👍
 And a restricted view ticket at that - better off sat on Henman Hill or is that Murray Mountain these days

Magic Monday

So Tokyo now officially has (according to the BBC) Magic Monday which follows on from Super Saturday at London in 2012.

Why do we need a name like this when we have a strong day at a sporting event? Or if we dont win medals tomorrow will Huw Edwards be talking this time tomorrow about Turdy Tuesday

Re: Grimes

Certainly far from a doddle but I have seen first hand just what the negotiation skills of Steve Kaplan look like and both the deals have his footprint all over it. And it always seems slightly odd that other clubs do seem to get what players are worth (and in many cases more than they are worth) N...

Re: Jody Morris

Just been checking in the odds, Morris is now 4/6 he was 5/1 when I backed him last night with the entire balance of the Skybet account that I didnt realise was still in there (£20.17 😁)

Well, I don't like to say I told you so but... eventually the paid professionals like to catch up with us part timers
Is this further along than being quoted do you think Phil?
That was my understanding last night - not sure we have two people on the go but could be wrong.

I don't think there is anyway we would want him here, think this is just one of those amazing coincidences of timing!
There are certain individuals that I wouldn't want at the club, if if if it was him it would be another nail in where I want our club to be
I would tend to agree

Re: Grimes

Signs of desperation again to get funds into the club.. £4M for Grimes is undervaluing him and to go to another Championship side shows his lack of ambition as a player. Not sure I would agree with the last bit - given Fulham's recent history there is every chance that in 12 months time he will be ...

Re: Grimes

The skill in negotiation though is very much getting people to pay what they are prepared to pay not necessarily what the offer is that is on the table I have little doubt on this one that Fulham would have been prepared to pay more although the previously banded about £12m is as laughable as £4m i...

Re: Grimes

Swans fans love a bit of drama queenery aye 🙄 The price is what someone is prepared to pay, we can’t force a club to pay what we want. Some of you must think that our owners don’t bother trying to get the best prices. This football owning / managing is a piece of piss isn’t it 😂 The skill in negoti...

Re: Jody Morris

https://planetswans.co.uk/2021/07/25/is-jody-morris-the-man-for-swansea-city/ Read into the article what you choose but the same person who told me about Cooper may have given me the name of Morris... I read into it we’re getting Morris. You are the sage and onion of Swansea City. In that I need st...
