Re: Season 20/21: The Sheffield Wednesday v Swansea City Match Thread

Good team effort tonight. Target is now to build the form and hone that passing and movement in time for the play offs. COYS

Re: Season 20/21: The Sheffield Wednesday v Swansea City Match Thread

I know Andre is expensive and I know many have a valued opinion that we should not have re-signed the man. I disagree, we have been very lucky, to some extent, putting aside the argument that we could have done better financially. Sure we could have and sure we should have etc etc. You get my drift...

Re: Season 20/21: The Sheffield Wednesday v Swansea City Match Thread

I think it was Ayew and other seniors laying down some ground rules. Ah I see your narrative nicely developing When we win it is in spite of Cooper When we lose it is because of him The much better (and correct) one is to criticise when it is necessary to and praise when it is due. Yesterday was th...

Re: Cooper not giving up with seven still to play

The post match interviews were interesting. Lowe said something along the lines that this is how the players prefer to play, whilst Cooper (in a separate interview) sort of shook his head in awe, in that the players were brave to play that way at an in form, at home Millwall side. It just seemed a t...

Spot on. That's what's been so frustrating. We're fundamentally not a hoofball team, or club. It just doesn't suit us. I'll enjoy a few bevvies tonight!
We all deserve a few jinxy after the shite they have served up mate.
Yep. Cheers FB! :beers:

Re: Routledge

I've always rated him. He's getting on in terms of age and while he's probably loss a yard of pace, and a bit of his fitness he's still got the skill, an eye for a pass and he reads the game well. I genuinely believe he's some that should be groomed to become a coach and potentially a future manage...

Re: Season 20/21: Millwall v Swansea City Match Thread

Well then wtf happened there? Routledge showed the way, his experience shine through, he showed how to trap and pass the ball to a fellow player. Great second half that has shut the detractors, including me up, we criticised and rightly so, we have been very frustrated by the last few performances ...

Great goal. Please Mr Cooper learn that hoofball is a lottery, and makes football matches all about luck, which can run out of course!

...reflected by the lack of activity on the match day thread! I think 0-0 is most likely. We were within minutes of shithousing two 0-0 despite hardly turning up for two games. This time I think we’ll finally achieve our aim. I'm not so sure. Someone mentioned the body language of our players didn'...

Re: Richard Burton

I worked with somebody once, who was in their company at a rugby club do. This guy was sec of the club, maybe Glyncorrwg. He said Liz was beautiful from the neck up, but that he'd never heard language as foul from any woman, or man in the club before! They were quite a couple, that's for sure.
