Re: Conor Hourihane done deal
I don't think he has any weaknesses in the Championship. Villa are going well, made a few signings, only played 15 game. Our gain and their loss. Villa manager has made it clear he wants him back next season. Onwards and upwards.

Re: Freddie Woodman
We were not all that good at Barnsley. If they had pulled back a goal after our second we may well have been in shatsville. No team will win the league without a stand out keeper.

Re: Steve cooper
Fulton is now an accomplished reliable asset who has been offered a new contract. The most telling moment with Fulton was when Cooper made him the playmaker by instructing him to hold his position and wait for the others to find him, which they did. A real talent on advising youngish players on how ...

Re: Morris deal agreed
I think that is fair. He could play a variety of roles in the front four though would not be a Dhanda type who is deft and articulate. Hopefully he will fit in with Lowe and Ayew who need to take a breather now and again. It was Steve Cooper who said he relied too much on Ayew to steal a game. Much a...

Re: The Official Planet Swans January 2021 Transfer Thread
Still need a midfielder in the MGW mould unless Cooper thinks Byers is the answer ! Dhanda, Ayew and Routledge could also feature as a no.10, as could Lowe. Will be interesting to see how Morris works out if this is confirmed. Hourihane will be after game game time and so will Morris. It is a good ...

The new Michu. Excited about this one, especially if he is looking at a longer term move. Didnt check his age but he looks like the finished product which is key at this juncture.

Re: Conor Hourihane
If he can score like Siggurdson then cool, though that remains to be seen. I imagine this has been leaked as he will be in high demand. Will be good if he joins and stays free of injury. We also have Byers back so we should be stronger.

Re: Season 20/21: The Official Barnsley v Swansea City Match Thread
I remember the 3-1 win in the League Cup in 2012. Mark Gower came on for one of his last appearances for the team (only played in 3 games that season before leaving) and I remember deciding to keep a tally of his stats because someone on Planetswans was bound to slate him. Sure enough someone did t...

Re: arrogance knows no bounds
We are all small clubs. We were fortunate that Martinez came along and some Good managers became interested in taking us forward. We have also had a very rocky period during the ownership change and a few bad examples of manager selection. Cardiff were strong last year and it is early days yet. They...

Re: Cheeky loan bid for Brewster?
With Morgan coming back in, we would be benefit from a McBurnie type to add some muster. However I reckon Cooper certainly has his credentials in the spotlight this month. There will be a cluster of strikers looking for a move due to our position. The top 6 clubs will be looking to loan out players ...

Re: Season 20/21: The Official Swansea City v Watford Match Thread
matt grimes is electric, well done lads, not many questioning the captains personality or performance over xmas period, good win, even cooper seems to have almost been accepted as having some clue about football coaching, could be to do with no crowds and being able to hear him coach during the game...

Re: Season 20/21: The Official Swansea City v Reading Match Thread
They didnt score and we were unlucky not to get two or three
Onwards and upwards, Reading are a decent team
Norwich, Brentford, Bournemouth, Warford continue to look strong
Keep up the pressure, White is on his way back hopefully soon, we clearly rested Jan for this one

I do not rate managers highly, when I hear the word ....mentality.....does my goat, making a killing at a menial job
