The Swansea City boss saw his side put under pressure from Ipswich – without a win to their name this season – but they left Portman Road having extended their unbeaten run with a valuable point.
Speaking via the official website, Sousa said “I am very proud and happy with what we did
“Ipswich are a good team that is why I am happy with the result – one point is better than nothing.
“I’m happy that our unbeaten run continues but I would have liked it to continue with a win.
“Everyone that knows me knows that I am a winner and I drum that winning mentality into my players.
“It is important for our strikers to score goals and I am delighted for Craig,” he added.
“He’s a player who is getting better and will contribute to the success of this team.
“Craig has been working hard in the last few weeks, he’s got to keep it up and we will continue to help him.”
