Brendan Rodgers clearly wasn't best pleased that reports had surfaced elsewhere this week about interest in Michel Vorm

It had been reported that Chelsea, Man Utd, Newcastle and Spurs were all interested in Vorm and that there had been some firm interest made to the club.

But Rodgers said "I cannot say for certain that we will not get a £30 million offer for one of our players this month

"But I am feeling relaxed and comfortable because I know the players here are happy and they know this is a window where big business is not going to happen.

"I speak to my players regularly, and they know it is a fantastic place for them to be.

"We are a top-ten club in the Premier League, so there are not many clubs who are going to fulfil the needs of the players at this moment.

"What I can say to the fans that any discussion about the players' availability or non-availability will come from one of two people — myself and the chairman.

"Unless it comes from one of those two, the fans should not have any concerns."
